How this website’s functions relate to your information.

Page delivery and hosting
The hosting provider processes technical connection information such as IP address, request time, requested page and browser information to deliver the site. Server logging and retention depend on the hosting service actually used. The website does not maintain its own visitor database.
Language and approximate location
On entry without a specified language, the IP address may be used to infer an approximate country. Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein initially receive German; other or unidentified locations receive English. An explicitly requested language version remains available.
A manual language choice is stored in the as_lang cookie for up to one year and takes priority on the next general entry. You can clear the cookie in your browser or change language again. A country inference does not establish which language an individual actually speaks.
Depending on the hosting arrangement, the country is supplied by the edge hosting service or looked up in an IP-country database stored on the web server. The website does not send the IP address to an additional geolocation API service for this purpose.
Search and topic filters
Search filters the guide cards already loaded in your browser. Search terms and a topic can appear in the URL, so they may be present in browser history or ordinary hosting logs when that address is loaded again.
Other services
The website’s own code includes no advertising trackers, analytics tools, visitor accounts or newsletter signup. Images and page files are served locally. A private hosted publication may separately require the hosting platform’s sign-in.
Email and external links
When you send an email, the email services involved process your sender address, message and attachments. Include only what your question needs. Linked external documentation is governed by the respective provider’s data practices.
Requests about your information
For questions about correcting or deleting a message you sent, use the contact address above and identify the correspondence. Technical hosting records may require information from the actual hosting provider.
